Some important terms being used in FOREX trading are precisely defined below:
Ask Price:
Sometimes also known as Offer Price. It is the market rate for traders to purchase currencies. These are displayed on the extreme right side of a quote like EUR/USD 1.8899/ 78 which means that one euro can be purchased for 1.1965 USD.
Bar Chart:
A variety of chart which is used in Technical analysis. Every time partition on the chart is viewed as a vertical bar which means the following information: – the extreme top bar is the maximum rate, the below bar is the lowest rate, the horizontal bar displays the opening price and horizontal line on the right is the closing rate.
Base Currency:
It is the very first currency in a pair and the quote demonstrates how much of the base currency prices in the quote of other currency. Like in the quote – USD/JPY 122.90 – USD is the base currency worth 1 USD being rated as 122.90 Yen.

When you are willing to buy an amount of stocks for which you can’t completely fund, then you may be able to borrow the money you require from your broker. Such type of loan is referred to as margin loan. And, similar to any other loan, it comes with an interest rate.

Interest rate for Margin Loan
Individual brokers determine the interest rate that they will charge for a margin loan, but generally it’s based on the broker’s call, which is also referred to as the broker’s call rate, call loan, or call loan rate. This rate is published in the Wall Street Journal on daily basis.
Through Margin account you can invest more
When you have signed up for a margin account with your stock broker, then by borrowing the money from your broker you would be able to purchase more stock as compared to what you can actually pay for.
Stock you own serves as security for Margin loan
The cash and/or stocks that is own by you in the account are considered as security for the loan. In fact, broker’s usually impose a minimum equity amount in order to be eligible for the loan. This amount is generally around 35%.

The price that is associated with a stop order is referred to as stop price. When it comes to executing purchases or sales of a given stock or other security then the establishment of this price is very important .

Investor must provide stop price to broker
The investor must provide the broker with a price at which some sort of trading activity should commence in order to have the the transaction to function efficiently.
