Day trading is a process of buying and selling of multiple financial instruments such as currencies, stocks, futures and options. Its main goal is to make profit from the difference between buying price and selling price.  It differs from other types of trading in that there are no open positions available overnight. Day trades can continue for some minutes or sometimes they are held for the whole trading session. Day trading is not an easy task for new future traders as it requires much experience, knowledge and discipline to trade successfully.

Following are some advantages of day trade futures:

1. As there no positions are to be held overnight during the day time, the trader can sleep well without experiencing the tension of open positions.

2. Futures rarely open at a much different price than they closed the previous day. It means you could have some unexpected big losses while holding positions overnight if some unavoidable circumstances occur around the world.

3. In day trading you can learn a great knowledge about future markets in a short period of time. Actually day traders make many trades every day, compare to position traders who might make a single trade a week.

Disadvantages of Day Trading Futures

Besides several advantages, day trading futures has also some disadvantages:

1. Day trading futures is not an easy trade, especially for the beginners who have no much knowledge and experience of the market. Also, it requires traders to be very disciplined and punctual.
